Pujiang College of Nanjing University of Technology is a second-class public private college approved by Jiangsu Province 1998, and was turned into an independent college with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2005. The college's education, teaching and student status management are brought into the unified management of Nanjing University of Technology. Three academicians of Nanjing University of Technology served as honorary presidents of the college, and established a teaching committee composed of party secretaries, principals and experts from various professional colleges of Nanjing University of Technology.
