North China Institute of Aerospace Industry is a full-time college, founded in 1978 and formerly known as Langfang Precision Machinery Industry School. 1983 in may, it was established as the aerospace industry staff university. /kloc-0 changed its name to North China Aerospace Industry School in August, 1984.

1985 1 1 The school was transformed into an ordinary engineering college and named North China Institute of Aerospace Industry. In July 2004, the Ministry of Education officially approved Beihua to be upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed it North China Institute of Aerospace Industry.
