Since ancient times, the most sad thing for sentimental people is to leave, not to mention the bleak autumn, how can they stand the sadness. Who knows where I am when I am awake tonight? Fear is just the edge, facing the sad morning breeze and the waning moon. This is a long time, people who love each other are not together, and I even expect to be satisfied with the good weather and scenery in name only. Even if it is full of emotions, who can enjoy it together?

Parting thoughts welled up in my mind, and sentimental wit couldn't help falling in love with this beautiful woman. As the first professional poet in the history of China Ci, Liu Yong memorized Rain Ring in middle school, and before he left, he thought of the sadness after leaving. The poem is touching and empathetic.

In ancient times, there was never a shortage of romantic talents, and it was just a common practice to look for flowers and ask for willows in brothels. As we all know, Liu Yong's "Yu Lin Ling" is written for geisha.

Brothel is the gentle hometown of many men in ancient times, but isn't it also the unfortunate cradle of many women with bleak life experiences?

Why did Huang Youguang, a respected economist in China, propose to follow the example of the ancients and legalize brothels?

0 1 Shocking proposal

Who's Huang Youguang? 1942 was born in Malaysia and his ancestral home is Chaoshan, Guangdong. He was born in a big family with seven brothers and sisters, but he is the youngest.

As a teenager, he was not outstanding, even a bad student. He failed in primary school twice. However, after winning the first prize unexpectedly in an exam, the joy of success made his attitude towards learning change dramatically. He began to realize his academic counterattack, from a bad student to a bully.

He successfully passed the University of Sydney to become a doctor of economics, and then joined Australia International. 1980, aged 38, academician of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences. Six years later, he was selected as "1700- 1986 Top Ten Scholars in Australia and Top Ten Scholars in the World".

His academic achievements are respectable and cover a wide range of fields. He not only taught at Monash University for nearly 12 years, but also served as a professor at Nanyang Technological University, School of Economics of Fudan University, Jinan University and Xi University, and was also an advisory member of the Advisory Committee of the Global Priority Institute of Oxford University.

However, it is such an outstanding scholar and professor who put forward a shocking "suggestion": follow the example of the ancients and legalize brothels.

His proposal was shocking and caused an uproar. After the founding of New China, in order to ensure the rights and interests of the majority of female compatriots, China has already banned illegal activities such as prostitution and whoring, and it is not allowed to appear in brothels and other similar places.

Brothel can be said to be a word that many people avoid, because from many costume dramas, we know that this is not a good place.

However, the word is not a filthy place at first, but a varnished building, which is usually worthy of being the residence of emperors and nobles. It is recorded in the Book of Southern Qi that the ancestors of our ancestors painted buildings with green paint, which is called a brothel on earth.

Later, it was used to describe the residence of women. In Cao Zhi's poem, he wrote: It is at the south end of the city, asking women to live in peace; The green painted tower is on the road, and two doors are tied to the big house.

Only with the passage of time, it has become synonymous with brothels in later generations. This used to be the meaning in the chapter "Du Shiniang's Wrath Box" in A Tale of Warning: (Sun Fu) is a romantic man who is used to buying smiles from brothels.

But there are many kinds of women in ancient brothels, such as geisha and maiko, all of whom are prostitutes who don't sell themselves. Those high-class brothels that receive dignitaries and romantic talents are actually arty places, which is why there are so many famous prostitutes with beauty and talent in ancient times, such as Xue Tao, Li Shishi, Liu, Chen Yuanyuan and Yu.

Therefore, the early brothels or high-end brothels were not so unbearable, and only those places with insufficient grades were as smoky as we thought. What does Professor Huang Youguang mean by brothels?

Is it the right medicine or immoral?

Obviously, the brothel referred to by Professor Huang Youguang is not an arty place, and his proposal is undoubtedly contrary to the national policy. As a heavyweight, why did he make such a controversial proposal?

He said that in reality, adult men have certain physiological needs. When they can't solve their physiological needs, they will inevitably go astray and do things that violate the law and discipline, so that innocent women will suffer.

He believes that the legalization of brothels conforms to the social characteristics of imbalance between men and women, and giving men who can't find a partner a legal place to solve their physiological needs can greatly reduce the crime rate.

But can this really solve the real social problems? The difference between humans and animals is that humans are more rational, can control their own desires, and know what to do and what not to do. If we indulge human nature and lose this reason, what is the difference between humans and animals?

Knowing the law and breaking the law is not just a problem that can be solved by physiological needs. Legalization of brothels can only cure the symptoms, which is actually similar to the problem that the law does not blame the public.

People can't help thinking about school bullying's problems. Just because the child was bullied by the younger brother led by the school bully and was excluded and isolated, this mistake became the fault of the bullied child. How can a woman pay for a man's physiological needs?

Huang Youguang considered the market demand from the perspective of men and wanted to promote social harmony, but forgot that today is a society where men and women are equal. If brothels are legalized, won't it lead to social retrogression?

"Forced prostitution" and "trafficking in women" are not unfamiliar words. Although women hold up half the sky today, the social division of labor between men and women is different. In some ways, they are still a vulnerable group in society. If prostitution is allowed to be legalized, won't these violations of law and discipline intensify?

Social problems should start from the root, not only superficial harmony, but actually undercurrent, and the social phenomenon that there are more men than women should change the concept of parents' preference for boys and keep the proportion of boys and girls harmonious, instead of finally coming out of polygamous marriage and then entering polygamous marriage.

Women are not tools to solve men's physiological needs and reproduce. If brothels are legalized, they will undoubtedly enter a patriarchal society and weaken women's ability and achievements in realizing self-worth in society.

Is the proposal of "legalizing brothels" the right medicine or immoral? It is estimated that many people hold their own opinions and have their own sufficient reasons from different angles and positions, but isn't this a reflection on human nature?

If brothels can be legalized because of the increase of men's physiological needs, will the number of criminals suddenly increase sharply and murder and arson will be legalized? The fundamental attitude towards mistakes should be solving rather than conniving!
