Henan University, 19 12 was founded in Kaifeng, formerly known as Henan Preparatory School for Studying in Europe and America. It is one of the five famous universities in the Republic of China and is now a provincial university. It belongs to a group of 2 1 1 colleges and universities in Henan, and the admission scores are quite high. Originally, Henan University was strong in all disciplines, but in the 1960s, the departments were adjusted. Science and engineering, economics and agronomy were merged into Wuhan University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Huazhong Normal University, Zhengzhou University, Huazhong Agricultural University and Henan Agricultural University. This decision really sacrificed Hoda University and expanded Wuhan University. Due to the profound cultural background, the majors of literature and history, economy, management and philosophy in Hoda University are still very strong.

The school has a century-old campus and a new campus, and the environment and facilities are still quite good. The only drawback is that Kaifeng's economic development level is somewhat backward, far less than that of Zhengzhou, the provincial capital. Henan University can be considered when volunteering, and the enrollment scores outside the province will not be too high.
