UTAR of Raman University in Malaysia is one of the comprehensive universities run by the Malaysian government. It is named after Tengku abdul rahman, the founding father of Malaysia, and belongs to the Education Foundation of Raman University. The chairman of the foundation is Mr. Lin, Minister of Communications. UTAR was established in 2002, covering an area of over 1 1,000 mu. It has four campuses, 1 1 college, three academic centers, 1 research institute, and four cultural and sports centers, offering more than 65438 courses for bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree. Among them, the university has many years of teaching experience and high-quality teachers (professors from Cambridge University, Oxford University and Harvard University serve as academic judges). It is recognized as a top school in Malaysia. There are currently 260,000 graduates.
Since its establishment, Raman University has made remarkable growth and expansion in infrastructure, academic achievements, teacher quality and student admission rate. Raman University will continue to develop and provide more application-oriented and market-oriented courses at the pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate stages according to the current and future social needs and the development of scientific research. Raman University has two campuses, and students will be assigned according to the departments they choose, namely, Campal main campus and Shuangxilong campus in Bandal, Selangor. Petaling Jaya in Klang Valley and Setapak in Kuala Lumpur moved to Shuangxilong Town Campus on June 20 15.
