Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology Information was founded in June 1987 and June 10. In May, 2003, with the approval of the People's Government of Hebei Province, it was registered by the Ministry of Education as a provincial full-time college with the qualification of independently issuing higher education diplomas.

The college has two campuses, and its headquarters is located in the southwest higher education zone of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province's political, cultural, educational and economic center. The newly-built Lingshou Campus is located in the economic development zone of Lingshou County, 35 kilometers northwest of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain. Beijing-Kunming, Taihang Mountain Expressway and Huang Shuo Railway pass through the territory, and the opening of high-speed railway makes Lingshou County integrate into the one-hour economic circle of Beijing, Tianjin and xiong'an new area.

The college has two-level colleges, namely, medical and pharmaceutical engineering, artificial intelligence, electronics and communication, preschool education and art design, electromechanical engineering and transportation, economic management, continuing education and technical secondary school, and three teaching departments, namely, social science department, basic department and sports department. There are two experimental centers and library teaching auxiliary institutions.

There are 53 disciplines and majors (including professional direction) and 8 majors in the technical secondary school. It has formed a scientific and technological ecological professional group with "artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Internet of Things and big data" as its core.
