February 22(nd)
After three weeks, my "narcissus doll" has changed a lot.
Four or five slender flat green leaves have grown on the "braid" of each seed ball. They stand in the basin with their heads held high, and the longest is 15 cm. Some leaves wrapped in seed balls are trying to break through the white "coat" and stretch out. The roots below are very dense, like thin bean sprouts and long white beards. It is their efforts to absorb nutrients from the water that make my daffodils grow rapidly. I watched carefully. Suddenly, I found something like a pod hidden between the leaves of two big light bulbs. I looked it up on the internet, and it turned out to be the bud of daffodil! I am happy and excited, daffodils, hope.
Saturday, February 9th.
Today, I took a piece of garlic and gently peeled off a layer of white skin. Then I found an empty mineral water bottle, cut off the big piece on it, leaving only the bottom part, then poured half the water and put garlic in it. Know what I'm doing? Yes, I'm kind of garlic. Sunday, February 10 Today, garlic was found to be a little green on its head. Garlic is going to sprout! I quickly changed a bottle of water and found that the roots had grown. I took a ruler and measured it. The root only grew a little, about1mm. Today, on Friday, February 22nd and March 25th, it was found that the tallest garlic bud grew 5 mm, the little green bud that just emerged grew 2 mm, and the two in the middle grew 3 mm. Finally, the water was changed.
