Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts, founded in 1949, is one of the eight earliest academies of fine arts in China and the only one in northwest China. Formerly known as the Second Branch of Northwest People's Art College,/kloc-0 moved from Linfen, Shanxi Province to xingguo temple, Chang 'an County, xi Province in July, 1949, and was renamed the Art College of Northwest Military and Political University.
