Beijing Film Academy is an art school approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government of People's Republic of China (PRC), the State Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the scholarship awarding institution of the China Municipal Government, the executive chairman of the International Federation of Film and Television Schools and the Asia-Pacific Film Annual Conference, the first batch of art schools to undertake the national "863" project, an excellent school for undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education, and an advanced unit for teaching management of international students in Beijing.
The Central Academy of Drama, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), is the headquarters of China Higher Drama Education Alliance, the headquarters of Asian Drama Education Research Center, the secretariat of the World Federation of Drama Schools, the activity base of the World Federation of Drama Schools International College Students' Drama Festival, and the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China. The Central Academy of Drama is the first drama education institution in New China, and it has a UNESCO seat in drama education.
Shanghai Theatre Academy, located in Shanghai, is a university founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Culture and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It is a comprehensive art college in China that trains performing arts professionals. The school motto is "perfection to beauty". In 2002, the School of Performing Arts of Shanghai Normal University merged, and Shanghai Opera School and Shanghai Dance School merged.
