According to Article 9 of the Regulations on the Professional Qualification System for Licensed Pharmacists, any People's Republic of China (PRC) citizen who meets one of the following conditions and any foreigner who is allowed to work in China may apply to take the professional qualification examination for licensed pharmacists:
(1) Having obtained a college degree in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and having been engaged in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 5 years;
(two) to obtain a bachelor's degree or bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Chinese medicine, and to engage in pharmacy or Chinese medicine for 3 years;
(3) Having obtained a second bachelor's degree, graduated from a postgraduate class or a master's degree in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and worked in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 1 year;
(four) to obtain a doctorate in pharmacy and Chinese medicine;
(5) The number of personnel who have obtained corresponding academic qualifications or degrees in pharmacy or Chinese medicine will increase by 1 year.

Article 12 A person who has obtained the professional qualification certificate of a licensed pharmacist shall apply for registration with the local registration management institution through the national licensed pharmacist registration management information system. After registration, you can engage in corresponding practice activities. Those who are not registered shall not practice as licensed pharmacists.
Article 13 An applicant for registration must meet the following conditions:
(1) Obtaining the professional qualification certificate of licensed pharmacists;
(two) abide by the law, abide by the professional ethics of licensed pharmacists, no bad information records;
(3) Being in good health and being able to persist in working as a licensed pharmacist;
(four) approved by the unit.
