Brief introduction of Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications
Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications is the only information and communication engineering college in Northeast China, which is affiliated to People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Information Industry (formerly the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications). Universities directly under the former Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications include: Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (now Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (now Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications (merged into Jilin University), Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (now Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications) and Xi University of Posts and Telecommunications (now Xi University of Posts and Telecommunications). The air is fresh and the environment is pleasant. Campus 2 1.6 hectares. The elegant and quiet campus environment and complete facilities for teaching, scientific research and living welfare provide good conditions for teachers and students in teaching, scientific research, work and life. On June/0/2, 2000, it merged with the former Jilin University, Jilin University of Technology, Bethune Medical University, changchun university of science and technology and China People's Liberation Army Quartermaster University to form a new Jilin University.
