Gansu Agricultural University is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Agriculture and the People's Government of Gansu Province, a high-level university in Gansu Province, and one of the 100 central and western universities under state key construction. It was selected into the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, the education and training plan of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, the national postgraduate project of building a high-level university, and the national key discipline project.
