"This is our duty, and we hope to encourage it.

A man of practice should not have a climbing heart, but a clean heart that is not greedy. I often tell you that anyone who becomes a monk and practices is bent on seeking Tao, without desire or desire. Even dirt, also can't literally give people, also can't literally to people, the so-called:

"A mustard seed is not for others, and a mustard seed is not for others. 」

For "fate", we must distinguish clearly. It is necessary to clean this "fate" without polluting it. Clean margin, not greedy; Being defiled is greedy. Monks can be raised, but not greedy; He who is not greedy for sustenance is a disciple of the true Buddha.

You should have accepted the support, but you didn't. This is ambition. You didn't go to the west to become a monk, get dressed and eat well, but you didn't practice well. What's the use? Everything outside the body should be regarded as normal and should not be taken so seriously. The so-called "a gentleman seeks the Tao without seeking food" has been changed to "a gentleman seeks the Tao without seeking clothes". Don't be greedy for delicious food, just eat enough, and don't be greedy for good clothes, just keep out the cold. The ancients said:

"A gentleman can live in poverty, but a person can live in a knowledgeable life. 」

Monks, you should know that you can't be in debt without success. If you are in debt, you will be trapped and unable to get rid of it. Especially these unclean fates, you can't pull out your legs and you can't get comfortable. But on the whole, monks are willing to be supported and accept people's fruits. Bound by an unclean fate, the rope that cannot easily transcend the three realms binds you tightly and cannot be freed. Therefore, don't covet this unreal coming to the west, so as not to get into trouble.

Monks are divided into seven grades-

(1) First-class monk: dressed lightly, with nothing, spotless and nothing.

(2) Second-class monk: holding a cloth bag; The contents of the bag will not be known to outsiders.

(3) A third-class monk: shouldering heavy burdens; Because I couldn't put it down, I took all my belongings there and picked them there, even though it was a heavy burden (about 100 kg). In America, there is no burden, just a backpack, which means the same thing.

Fourth-class monk: Put the things in the car.

Fifth-class monk: set things on fire in the car.

(7) Seventh-class monk: Put things on the plane.

This is a common fault of monks. I hope you will follow me to become monks and become Buddhists. If you can't become a Buddha, you must be a bodhisattva. In short, we should benefit others rather than ourselves. Don't give away your usual things casually. If you think you have merit, you are actually stealing monks. It is against the rules of Dojo to get on well with others and give them away without permission. If there is such behavior, correct it quickly and don't do it again. If there is no such behavior, please do it! Be careful! When I was in the northeast, I only wore three layers of cloth. Was I cold then? Cold! Then why do you insist on it? Because I want to freeze to death and not climb!

Before he took office, he had to kill several people to sacrifice Buddhism. Kill who? Kill the thief! Anyone who has been a thief before or will be a thief in the future should be beheaded in public. The new abbot wants to legislate. Why didn't I legislate before? Because I am a French slave, everything is fine, no problem. But the new abbot is more autocratic, so the more thieves he kills, the better. As the saying goes, "Kill all the Buddha thieves and leave only the great sage." Arhat is also translated as "killing thieves", and the so-called "eliminating violence can be good". 」

Attention, lay people! Don't think that flattering the new abbot is a good protector. In fact, it is a stumbling block and hinders the development of legal affairs. The abbot should not praise or criticize others casually, nor should he be swayed by praise or criticism. It is natural that if you want others to praise you, someone will slander you.

In the past, someone scolded me, forget it; Someone praised me and forgot. Since you are an intern abbot, you should keep the tenet of "neither praise nor belittle". If you don't want people to praise you, don't praise others first; You don't want others to slander you, so don't slander others first. As the saying goes, "Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you. Remember, don't plant unclean reasons.

When a layman meets a new abbot, it is an act of corrupting Buddhism to provide him with some particularly delicious food. If Buddhism is not corrupted, it is not icing on the cake. The abbot won't starve to death, even if he does. Who told him not to practice? Moreover, it is really a hero and glory in Buddhism to starve to death for Buddhism, so the consistent purpose of this association is:

Freeze to death, don't climb, starve to death, don't beg, and die in poverty. Follow the same fate, the same fate. Stick to our three goals.

Born for Buddha, born for art, born for monk. That is, things are reasonable and understanding is things. Telepathy of ancestors.

If anyone supports you, then he is crawling on you and playing your mind, you know? Especially if you are a young man, you should be very aware of this. I am old, so-called "old incompetence", but young people should not surround themselves with dirty things, but should "freeze to death in the wind and starve to death outside." "Be a candle in the wind, be pure gold in the fire, and you will be afraid of nothing!

"Freeze to death and not climb": This is a portrayal of my life. When I was in the northeast, I wore three layers of cloth in winter and summer. Three or four months before this incident, his leg was bitten by a dog, and Chinese and western medicine could not cure it for several months, and there was nothing they could do. Bodhisattva Wei Tuo was nosy and said to him, "Go to Guanyin Cave to support the mage, and his leg will be fine." "So he believed, and then he sent rice and money. I was about to die in the cave. I have never said to anyone, "Have pity on me, I haven't eaten for days!" " This is "starving." "

When I first came to Nanhua Temple in Guangdong to be close to the elderly, I was penniless and even had no money to send letters. But I have never given alms to laymen. Therefore, all my three purposes have their origins, not out of thin air. Now that the new abbot is in power, don't contact him alone to make him particularly fond of you. If you have the heart to support, you can support the public, not someone. Otherwise, this is simply harmful! Destroy the harmony of Buddhism. Monks should stick to these three purposes, don't be discouraged, be teachers and fight against the ten magic armies. Someone asked, "didn't you teach your disciples to give up with compassion?" Why teach them to fight? It's not that you don't change your mind. How can I be a teacher? " Just because you want to be a teacher, you should educate the magic army! I was empty-handed and broke. I don't know how many hardships I went through before I founded Wanfo City, but I never told anyone about my difficulties, asked anyone for help, or asked anyone for help.

When you come to the city of ten thousand buddhas, don't look for bargains or benefits in the holy city of ten thousand buddhas. Greed is greater than becoming a monk. You are always chanting the curse of greed, struggling for your heart and saying that the city of ten thousand buddhas is not merciful to you. You came to Wanfo City for greed and fighting, then you are barking up the wrong tree. Anyone who converts to me should think about it: "How much does Wanfo City give you? How much have you contributed to Wanfo City? Don't go to Wanfo City and accuse Wanfo City of being sorry for you. How much contribution have you made to Wanfo City? Think clearly like this, and see if you are at ease?
