Master Kuan Neng (1895— 1989) is the most famous abbot of Xishi Temple. Her common name is Long Liuwei, and her ancestral home is Lingui County, Guilin City, Guangxi Province. When she was young, she studied in the Economics Department of the Republic of China University in Beijing, and then worked in education and economic management. /kloc-began to learn Buddhism in 0/920, and 1923 became a monk in the Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai. He has become a teacher by printing light and acting as a master. 1937 returned to Guilin, Guangxi to run vegetarian restaurants, jushilin and night schools, and promoted Buddhism. 1947 Nanhua Temple in Qujiang County, Guangdong Province was fully disciplined. The mentor Xu Yun and the monk gave her a name, and she passed on the Yunmen pulse. She is the thirteenth generation descendant of the Yunmen Sect, with a wonderful name. Master Kuan Neng is proficient in Buddhism and has written books such as Samadism. Master Yuan Ying wrote poems praising: Good roots and wisdom come first, just like lotus leaves no dust; Losing one's will and keeping one's virginity is a Buddhist garden, and there are many women in the models. 1949, at the invitation of the Buddhist community in Guiping, Kuan Neng was appointed as the abbot of Xishi Temple until 1989. This monk has been the abbot of the Western harem for 40 years. Master Kuan Neng is a Buddhist who loves his country and religion. She led the living nunchakus to learn Buddhism, strictly observed the precepts and carried out daily Buddhist activities. It has also developed the fine Buddhist tradition of "paying equal attention to agriculture and Zen" and "not doing anything for a day, not eating for a day", and started production and service projects such as religious supplies, vegetarian meals, food, tourism handicrafts, tea planting and processing, which not only realized the maintenance of temples, but also repaired temples and added utensils, creating conditions for training young people in Zhong Ni. Master Kuan Neng has also served as a director and executive director of the Chinese Buddhist Association, a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a vice chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Guiping County, and a representative of the county people's congress.
Xishi Temple has a long history of growing tea and is known as "Xishan Tea, Milk Spring".
