Song History Research Center is now divided into four research rooms: Song Economic History Research Room, Song Political and Legal History Research Room, Liao Xia Jin History Research Room, Ancient Books and Modernization Research Room. * * * has 12 full-time scientific research and teaching staff, 2 librarians and administrative secretaries, including 9 doctoral supervisors, 7 professors, 2 associate professors, 3 lecturers and 2 research interns. Song History Research Center attaches great importance to the cultivation of academic talents. Among the existing full-time staff, 6 have obtained doctoral degrees and 4 are studying for doctoral degrees. A scientific research group with outstanding young and middle-aged strength, excellent quality, capable personnel and great development potential has been formed. In addition, 20 well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad are part-time professors and associate professors, and Mr. Wang Zengyu, president of China Song History Research Association, is the center of distinguished professor.

The secretariat of China Song History Research Association is located in this center. Mr. Zhu Ruixi and Mr. Wang Zengyu are the presidents of China Song History Research Association, and Professor Li Huarui is the vice president and secretary general, responsible for editing and publishing the Journal of China Song History Research Association (twice a year).

The center is responsible for editing and publishing the Song History Research Series (one volume per year) and the Song History Research Series, with famous experts at home and abroad as consultants and members of the editorial board.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education on the construction of key research bases for humanities and social sciences, the Song History Research Center will be built into an academic research center, a talent training center, a data information center and an academic exchange center in the field of Song history.
