By May of 20 14, Jilin University had signed undergraduate exchange agreements with Peking University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Beihang University, Xi Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuhan University, China University of Political Science and Law, East China Normal University, Xiamen University, Shandong University, Dalian University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Lanzhou University and other universities, and selected more than 500 students. Signed exchange agreements with Hong Kong Baptist University, City University of Hong Kong, Taiwan Province Provincial University, Sun Yat-sen University, Feng Jia University, Donghua University in Taiwan Province Province, Donghai University, Tamkang University, Yishou University, Soochow University, Taipei University, Chinese Culture University in Taiwan Province Province, National national cheng kung university University and Yuan Ze University. Our students can attend the above-mentioned 14 universities for one semester free of charge. Signed student exchange agreements with more than 20 world-class universities such as Tokyo University, Waseda University and Stockholm University in Sweden to provide students with exchange visits.

Jilin University, referred to as Jida for short, is located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and was founded in 1946. It is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC).
