North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower was founded in 195 1 year, formerly known as Beijing Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower, and moved to Hebei in 1969. It was renamed North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower in 1995, and became one of the first-class universities supported by Henan Province in 20 13.
