Taibai Campus is adjacent to the 600-year-old Ming City Wall, located in the southwest corner of Xi 'an First Ring Road, and adjacent to the moat and Huancheng South Road in the north. Taibai Campus has the memorial pavilion of the actual temple ruins in the Tang Dynasty, the monument of "Land of Orange Escape", the old auditorium built by Zhang Xueliang during the Republic of China (still in use today), the monument of National Northwest Associated University, and the quaint tree-lined corridor. The campus is shaded by trees.
Taibai Campus is now the residence of Northwest University's School of History, School of Cultural Heritage, School of Life Sciences, School of Chemical Engineering, School of Art and Department of Geology.
The school has three campuses: Taibai Campus, Taoyuan Campus and Chang 'an Campus, covering a total area of more than 2,360 mu.
At present, there are 22 colleges (departments) and graduate schools, 83 undergraduate majors, 19 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, 5 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees in the catalogue, 39 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degrees in the catalogue, 8 master's degrees authorized by two disciplines, and 16 professional degree authorization points.
