I scholarships offered by the French Ministry of foreign and European affairs

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs awards various scholarships every year. These scholarships involve different financial assistance: social insurance, living expenses, tuition fees, travel expenses, etc.

1. Scholarships provided by French embassies abroad: French government scholarships are awarded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs to students who study, practice or participate in French training in France. Most of the scholarships are managed by the Cultural and Educational Cooperation Office and the Consulate of the French Embassy in France.

No matter where the host country is, no matter what kind of scholarship, the applicant must directly contact the Cultural and Educational Cooperation Office of the French Embassy in the host country one year before studying abroad.

Scholarship: for students who are officially registered in law schools and want to get a diploma. Priority is given to applicants at the master's and doctoral levels.

Internship Scholarship: The duration is 3 to 12 months, and it is awarded to those who have been training, conducting or are conducting vocational skills courses in France. It can also be distributed to people who accept short-term languages or short-term.

Scholarship for Senior Academic Visiting: Scholarship for cutting-edge research projects, culture, science and technology, technology or industry with a term of 1 to 3 months.

2. Scholarships for special projects

Eiffel Scholarship for Outstanding Students: It can support master's degree study or 10 doctoral program. Applicants must be recommended by the accepted French universities, not the students themselves.

Scholarship for outstanding students: for foreign students who study in French middle schools outside France and get "Tibion" or "Trebbion" in the senior high school entrance examination, they can be funded to master's degree.

Quai d 'QR Say-Enterprise Scholarship (where the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs is located): jointly launched by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and some well-known French enterprises (such as Terez, Orange and Air Liquide), it is distributed to graduate students from emerging countries. Applicants need to specialize in: engineering science, economics and management.

Scholarships provided by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research

Industry-University-Research Agreement (CIFRE): Doctoral students can complete their doctoral thesis in enterprises and keep close contact with scientific research laboratories, earning at least 23,484 euros per year (before tax). All industrial research agreements are managed by the French National Association for Research and Technology (ANRT).

Doctoral students registered in the form of * * * can get an exchange subsidy, and the registration of this project is the responsibility of scientific research institutions.

Doctoral contract: This contract is under the responsibility of the French Doctoral College and is valid for 3 years, so that doctoral students can enjoy all social security in the French labor contract during this period. According to the contract, the minimum remuneration for doctoral students is 1650 to 2,000 euros (before tax), depending on whether doctoral students only do research or engage in other teaching or expert work.

Three. European scholarship

Erasmus project: provide scholarships for EU students to study or practice in EU countries for 3 to 12 months.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (DEM): Scholarships organized by three universities in at least three EU countries. The course is expected to be held in at least two of the three universities, and students will receive double degrees, multiple degrees or joint degrees. The project is aimed at high-level college students, doctoral students or university teachers.

Four. Scholarship for cooperative institutions of French universities

Scholarships provided by the Cooperation Agency of French Universities (AUF) are used to finance the personnel flow between 786 universities and scientific research institutions in 98 member countries. Give priority to exchanges between underdeveloped countries.
