This year's rankings include:
Measure teacher resources more comprehensively: the proportion of teachers with the highest academic qualifications now covers the proportion of part-time teachers with the highest academic qualifications. Prior to this, the indicator only evaluated full-time teachers. This is a more comprehensive measure that currently includes high-quality teachers, regardless of their employment contracts. This change reflects the increase in the number of part-time teachers in schools.
Update the ranking category: About 10% of the listed institutions entered different categories this year. For example, institutions previously classified as regional universities can now be classified as national universities. This is because the classification of Carnegie higher education institutions was updated in 20021. Since 1983 first ranked the best universities, American News and World Report has been using this classification to compare institutions with similar missions.
