1909 "Guangdong Agricultural and Forestry Experimental Field", "Guangdong Public Medical Hall" and "Guangdong Public Police Commissioner School" were established.
19 10 "Guangdong Arts and Crafts Bureau" was established.
1923, Guangdong Normal University, Guangdong Public University of Political Science and Law and Guangdong Public Agricultural College were merged and upgraded to National Guangdong University.
1925 "Guangdong Public Medical University" merged with "Guangdong Public Institute of Technology".
1926 was renamed as "National Sun Yat-sen University".
1927 changed its name to "National No.1 Sun Yat-sen University" in August.
1928 changed its name to "National Sun Yat-sen University" in March.
1937 "National Guangdong Law College" merged into the Law School; "Guangdong Li Qiqin University Institute of Technology" merged into the Institute of Technology.
1952 The former Sun Yat-sen University merged with Lingnan University, and the campus moved to Le Kang Park, the original site of Lingnan University.
1980 resumed school in Taiwan Province, Xiziwan, Kaohsiung City.
