The author mainly talks about the history of Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties and the history and literature of the school. Due to the short duration of the Three Kingdoms, the author did not offer the history of the Three Kingdoms as an elective course, but offered the history of Qin and Han dynasties, and it was only after the formation of the Three Kingdoms. When I was studying in Northwest University (194 1 to 1945), I mainly studied ancient books of the pre-Qin dynasty, and after graduation, I mainly studied the history of Qin and Han dynasties. However, the author's familiarity with the history of Qin and Han dynasties is far less than that of the Three Kingdoms. The three countries have short time, little information and are easy to master. The History of the Three Kingdoms was often read when I was a child, so my memory is more reliable. Cao Mengde said: "The few are eager to learn, but good at thinking, and the elderly are forgetful." The author deeply agrees with this.
Author 1983 returned to Hebei from Lanzhou University. At first, he planned to write the Chronological History of Qin and Han Dynasties on the basis of the old Lecture Notes on the History of Qin and Han Dynasties. However, due to his large scale, he was incompetent and turned to writing the reflection of the three kingdoms.
The author is very grateful to Mr. Zhang Zuoyao, Mr. Zhang, Mr. Qiao and Mr. Zhang from People's Publishing House for their help and instruction. Mr. Wei Xun, in particular, put forward many valuable opinions on the manuscript from beginning to end, and even corrected the mistakes and shortcomings himself. And Mr. Ping Xiu was the first to put forward constructive suggestions, especially for the author. Wang Xinyi, director of the history department of Anhui University, gave the author many opinions and demands, and also sent the unpublished manuscript to the author, which benefited him a lot. Zhao Cigeng, the author's childhood teacher and a senior mathematician in rural areas, gave careful guidance to the parts related to mathematics in the manuscript and was deeply impressed.
