National english contest for college students is the only competition in China organized by the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee and the Foreign Language Teaching Research Association of colleges and universities to examine college students' comprehensive English ability. The purpose of this competition is to cooperate with the evaluation of higher education teaching level of the Ministry of Education, implement the spirit of college English teaching reform and examination reform of the Ministry of Education, stimulate students' interest in learning English, promote the overall improvement of college students' English level, and select and reward college students with excellent college English learning results.
