Shandong University of Science and Technology is called "Shandong University of Science and Technology" for short, and its main campus is located in Qingdao, Shandong Province. It is a key university in Shandong Province jointly established by Shandong Provincial People's Government and People's Republic of China (PRC) Emergency Management Department.
It is a national outstanding engineer education and training plan, a new engineering research and practice project, a national college student innovation and entrepreneurship training plan project, a famous school project with Shandong characteristics, and a high-level university in Shandong Province. It was selected into the list of the first batch of scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer bases in colleges and universities and the list of the construction of national intellectual property information service centers in colleges and universities.
As a member of China-Russia (Shandong) Education International Cooperation Alliance, universities support the construction of Yangtze Normal University. Shandong University of Science and Technology originated from 195 1 No.2 Coal Mine Vocational School in Shandong Mining Area established in Hongshan, Zibo and Jinan Coal Mine School established in 1956, and developed into Huainan Mining Institute and Shandong Coal Mine College respectively.
1963 Huainan Institute of Mining was revoked and merged into Shandong Institute of Coal Mining. 197 1 year, Shandong Coal Mining Institute and Taian Coal Mining School established Shandong Mining Institute in Taian. From 65438 to 0999, Shandong Institute of Mining and Shandong Institute of Coal Education merged to form Shandong University of Science and Technology. 200 1, Shandong Finance School merged. In 2004, the main school moved to Qingdao.
