Zhanjiang Institute of Technology has a very good reputation, but employment depends on which major you study in it. Some majors have better employment, and some majors, such as unpopular majors, are difficult to find employment.

Zhanjiang Institute of Science and Technology is located in Zhanjiang, a beautiful port city at the southernmost tip of Chinese mainland. It is a full-time undergraduate college. The school was founded by Guangdong Ocean University and Zhanjiang Cunjin Education Group, 1999. In 2006, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent college, and in 20021it was transformed into an independent private undergraduate college.

Campus environment

The school has a modern university campus with Mazhang and Xinhu campuses. The campus covers an area of nearly 1990 mu, and the school building area is nearly 700,000 square meters.

Xinhu Campus is listed as a key construction project in Guangdong Province in 2020. According to the construction goal of "modernization, intellectualization and academy", Xinhu Campus has been built into a magnificent university with a combination of Chinese and Western cultures, lakes and mountains, which runs through the traditional ideas of Chinese academies, with the central axis of the campus as the backbone and the lake of arts and sciences as the two wings.

The buildings in Mazhang Campus are dominated by bright orange, which symbolizes the youthful vitality of young college students.
