Beihua University is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, a charming city in China. It is the rime capital with charming scenery. 1999 was approved by the Ministry of Education and was formed by the merger of Jilin Normal University, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Institute of Electrification.

School development:

The predecessors of the original four schools were Jilin Primary Normal School founded by 1906, Jilin Private Midwifery School founded by 1928, Jilin Forestry School founded by 1952 and Jilin Vocational School founded by 1920.

The school has three campuses in the east, south and north and an affiliated hospital. It covers an area of 2.684 million square meters (including the teaching and experimental base) and has a building area of 528,200 square meters. The total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment is 560 million yuan, and there are 383 1 000 books. There are 28 colleges, 1 engineering training center. There are 27,492 full-time students, including 2,526 graduate students, 2,424 undergraduates, 65,438 junior college students and 44 international students.
