Southwest University Law School is a newly established college after the establishment of Southwest University, based on the former Law Department of Southwest Normal University and the former Law Department of Humanities College of Southwest Agricultural University. The major of civil and commercial law is in the core position in the professional configuration of the college. Business training objectives: This major trains senior professionals who have systematic legal knowledge, are familiar with Chinese laws and relevant policies of the Party, and can engage in legal work in state organs, enterprises, institutions and social organizations, especially legislative organs, administrative organs, procuratorial organs, judicial organs, arbitration institutions and legal service institutions.

Main courses: jurisprudence, Chinese legal history, constitution, administrative law and administrative procedure law, civil law, commercial law, intellectual property law, economic law, criminal law, civil procedure law, international law, private international law, international economic law, etc.

Main practical teaching links: including probation, legal consultation, social investigation, thematic debate, mock trial, mystery debate, practice and so on. , generally not less than 20 weeks.
