The Department of Architecture, where the School of Architecture and Urban Planning is located, was put into use in May 2002, with a building area of about 1 1 1,000 square meters, providing students with special classrooms for designing courses, lecture classrooms and art classrooms. The college has academic lecture hall, multi-function hall, multimedia classroom, CAAD classroom and various laboratories.

School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Shenzhen University has urban building environment laboratory (building physics laboratory, building materials and structure laboratory), CAAD laboratory, model room, photography studio and digital city (GIS) laboratory. The school has invested more than 6.8 million yuan. Among them, the urban building environment laboratory, which consists of the building physics laboratory and the building materials and structure laboratory, is actively applying for the key laboratory in Shenzhen, and will become an important public service platform in Shenzhen in the future.

The college has always regarded books and materials as the most important capital construction, and has built a special library and architectural reference room, with more than 45,000 books and periodicals in circulation, including more than 7,600 foreign books and periodicals.
