General situation of Qingdao University Conservatory of Music
The Conservatory of Music of Qingdao University is located in Qingdao, a famous coastal city in China. It is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, at the foot of Fushan Mountain, with beautiful scenery. The college, formerly known as the Music Department of Qingdao Normal University, was established in 1984. Later, the college was upgraded to a normal college, and 1993 was merged into Qingdao University. Musicology (Music Education) was established in 1998. On the basis of this department, the Art College was established in Qingdao University from 1 1 in 2000. In 2003, the college obtained a master's degree in musicology. In August 2004, it was renamed "Conservatory of Music". At present, the college has developed into the highest music institution in Jiaodong, with four undergraduate majors: musicology, music performance, dance and composition technology theory, 16 master's major in musicology under the first-class discipline of music and dance, and master's major in music performance art in the art field. The discipline of musicology in colleges and universities won the key discipline in Shandong Province for ten consecutive years during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" and "Twelfth Five-Year Plan".

Party and Government Office of the College: Jiang Shi 'an is the secretary of the General Party Branch of the College, the president, the vice president (concurrently the deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the College), the vice president, the deputy secretary of the General Party Branch, and Hu is the director of the Party and Government Office of the College.

There are 7 professors, 6 doctors, 4 associate professors 15, 40 masters and 2 overseas students 12, from the United States, Germany, Britain, Russia and so on. The number and level of teachers rank first in Shandong Conservatory of Music. In recent years, the college has achieved fruitful results in teaching and scientific research, and won more than ten national, provincial and ministerial projects and awards, ranking first in the province's music colleges. In addition, violinist Lv Siqing has been employed as honorary dean for a long time, and Dai Yuqiang, Zhao, Zhu Kunqiang, Zuo Chenggong, Li Chunhua and other famous musicians and artists at home and abroad have served as visiting professors, which greatly improved the teaching level of the college.

The college has eight departments, namely, Music Department, Music Education Department, Composition Department, Vocal Music Department, Orchestral Department, Folk Music Department, Keyboard Department and Dance Department. There are student symphony orchestras, choirs, folk orchestras, chamber orchestras, dance teams and other music practice performance groups, aiming at consolidating theoretical teaching through practice and displaying teaching results through the stage. In the course arrangement, we attach importance to practical courses such as symphony orchestra, folk band and choir. At the same time, the college provides students with a lot of opportunities to participate in performances and competitions. By focusing on cultivating top students to participate in domestic and international competitions, holding concerts every week and performing at the end of each semester, the students' artistic practice level is improved, and they have won many competition awards such as the National Lotus Cup Award, the Shandong Skills Competition Award and the Provincial Chorus Competition. The college has also established exchange relations between international students and teachers with famous foreign universities such as the University of Missouri Conservatory of Music in the United States and the Towsengen Conservatory of Music in Germany. Students can apply for exchange study at undergraduate and graduate levels, providing students with opportunities to acquire international advanced music skills and knowledge.
