It is the most concerned and popular national competition for college students in China at present, and it is also the most representative, authoritative, exemplary and instructive college student competition in China.
Challenge Cup National University Students' Extracurricular Academic Research Works Competition is a national competition, referred to as "Challenge Cup" (corresponding to Challenge Cup Business Plan Competition).
The contest was founded in 1986 and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the All-China Federation of Students and the provincial people's government. The host university is a well-known university in China, and the "Challenge Cup" series is known as the "Olympics" of academic science and technology for China university students.
It is the most popular national competition among college students in China, and it is also the most representative, authoritative, exemplary and instructive college student competition in China. The contest is held every two years to encourage college students to be brave in innovation, meet challenges and cultivate cross-century innovative talents.
The total number of entries submitted by each school shall not exceed 6 (per person 1 piece), and the number of graduate works shall not exceed 3, including doctoral works not exceeding 1 piece.
All kinds of works are directly submitted to the Organizing Committee through provincial selection or the host organization, and then the national judging committee conducts pre-examination, and finally about 80% of the entries are selected for final review. According to the final evaluation results, the three categories of works have the grand prize, the first prize, the second prize and the third prize respectively, accounting for about 3%, 8%, 24% and 65% of the total number of such works.
