In May 2002, with the joint efforts of the Youth League Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Normal University and the approval of the Inner Mongolia People's Government, the Youth Political College of Inner Mongolia Normal University was established on the basis of the Youth League School of the Autonomous Region.
