1, Liaohe Petroleum Vocational and Technical College

Liaohe Petroleum Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1978, formerly known as Liaohe Petroleum School. In June 2006, with the approval of Liaoning Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education put on record and was upgraded to Liaohe Petroleum Vocational and Technical College. 202 1 is a public full-time general higher vocational and technical college under the local government of Panjin City.

The college covers an area of 487 mu, with beautiful environment and complete facilities. It has large-scale comprehensive training building, college students' cultural and sports activity center and other modern school-running facilities, as well as training bases for petroleum engineering, gathering and transportation, petrochemical industry and intelligent manufacturing. The college has set up 26 higher vocational majors, with a designed school scale of 6,000 students and an annual training capacity of 20,000-60,000 person-times.

The college takes moral education as its fundamental task, follows the school-running philosophy of "innovation, cooperation, openness and high quality", and adheres to the school motto of "cultivating both ability and political integrity and making great efforts to govern".

According to the principle of "doing intensive academic education and strengthening brand cultivation", and facing the development needs of Panjin regional economy and petrochemical industry cluster, we will build a professional (group) layout with petroleum engineering as the core, petrochemical industry, fine chemical industry and intelligent manufacturing as the main body, and automobile, general aviation and emergency safety as the two wings.

2. Panjin Vocational and Technical College

Panjin Vocational and Technical College is the first comprehensive public higher vocational college named "Vocational and Technical College" approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Panjin Branch of Liaoning TV University, Panjin Normal School and Panjin Normal College approved by the provincial government. The first dean was Wei Shusheng, a famous educator in China.

In 2000, Panjin Finance and Trade Workers Secondary Professional School and Panjin Health School merged into Panjin Vocational and Technical College. In August of 20 13, the school moved to the new campus of Liaodong Bay, thus embarking on a new journey of rapid development.

The school now covers an area of 290,000 square meters, with a building area of 6.5438+0.6 million square meters and a collection of 665,000 books. It is a modern higher vocational college with more than 9,500 full-time students and 2,200 adult education students. There are 9 secondary colleges in the school, offering 29 full-time higher vocational majors, covering science, engineering, medicine, economics, teaching and other majors.
