After graduation, students majoring in this major can engage in the design, manufacture, operation, management, research, development and marketing of power machinery (such as heat engine, fluid machinery and water conservancy machinery) and power engineering (such as thermal power plant engineering, hydropower engineering, refrigeration and low temperature engineering and air conditioning engineering) in various departments of the national economy. This major can engage in the following positions.

Dynamic specialty is still relatively extensive, and there is still a lot to learn. The basic courses of this major include engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, combustion, mechanical design, engineering materials, engineering mechanics, electronic technology, control and so on. Then the main direction is boiler, engine and refrigeration.

Energy and power engineering, formerly known as thermal energy and power engineering, is said to be a boiler specialty inside and outside the industry. Of course, this boiler is not another boiler, but mainly a power station boiler. This shows that graduates have two employment directions, boiler plant and power plant.
