I. Professional introduction
People who study physics want to know how the universe works. Their curiosity took them from a very small field-the structure of the nucleus-to a very large field-the structure of the universe-and anywhere in between!
You can learn about astrophysics and cosmology through the largest telescope in Atlantic Canada at the Memorial University Campus Observatory in Newfoundland. Or we can explore the basic principles of electricity and magnetism, quantum mechanics, geophysics and particle physics.
