Legal basis: Regulations on the Administration of Students in Colleges and Universities
Fiftieth students can be commended and rewarded by awarding the title of "three good students" or other honorary titles, awarding scholarships and other forms, and giving corresponding spiritual encouragement or material rewards.
Schools should establish open, fair and just procedures and regulations, and establish and improve the corresponding selection and publicity system when commending and rewarding students, recommending graduate students who are exempt from exams, national scholarships, and walking candidates studying abroad.
Fifty-first schools should give criticism and education to students who violate laws and regulations, these Provisions and school disciplinary actions, and give the following disciplinary actions according to the seriousness of the case:
(1) warning;
(2) serious warning;
(3) recording a demerit;
(4) Stay in school for observation;
(5) expulsion from school.
Fifty-second students in any of the following circumstances, the school can be expelled from school:
(1) Violating the Constitution and opposing the Four Cardinal Principles, undermining stability and unity and disturbing social order;
(two) in violation of state laws, which constitutes a criminal offence;
(3) Being punished by public security administration, if the circumstances are serious and the nature is bad;
(4) Taking the test instead of others or letting others take the test instead, organizing cheating, cheating with communication equipment or other equipment, selling test questions or answers to others for profit, and other serious cheating or disturbing the order of the test;
(5) Academic misconduct such as plagiarism, tampering and forgery exists in dissertations and published research results, and the circumstances are serious, or the dissertations are written or bought and sold on behalf of others;
(six) in violation of these regulations and school rules and regulations, seriously affecting the school education and teaching order, life order and public place management order;
(seven) infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of other individuals and organizations, resulting in serious consequences;
(eight) repeatedly violated the school rules by disciplinary action, education does not change.
Fifty-third schools to punish students, it shall issue a written decision on punishment. The penalty decision shall include the following contents:
(1) Basic information of students;
(two) the facts and evidence of punishment;
(three) the types, basis and duration of punishment;
(four) the way and time limit of the complaint;
(5) Other necessary contents.
Fifty-fourth schools should adhere to the combination of education and punishment, and adapt to the nature of students' violations of law and discipline and the severity of their faults. The school's punishment of students should be sufficient evidence, clear basis, accurate qualitative, due process and appropriate punishment.
