Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 In order to ensure the smooth progress of undergraduate enrollment of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 20 15 years, improve the quality of students, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of candidates, these Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the specific conditions of undergraduate enrollment of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Article 2 The Chinese University of Hong Kong follows the principles of fair competition, fair selection, open procedures, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission.
Chapter II Enrollment Plan
Article 3 The Chinese University of Hong Kong will recruit undergraduates in 3 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in 20 15 years. The enrollment plan will be announced through the admissions offices of all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
Chapter III Institutions
Article 4 The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a public full-time undergraduate university funded by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It was included in the list of key universities with early admission batches by the Ministry of Education.
Article 5 The Office of Admissions and Student Financial Assistance shall be fully responsible for the enrollment consultation and management of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Chapter IV Academic System
Article 6 All undergraduate courses of The Chinese University of Hong Kong adopt the flexible credit system, and all colleges and universities in China enroll students in a unified way. The study period is four years, with at least 123 credits, including compulsory credits for specialized courses, as well as general education, Chinese, physical education, information technology, minor or elective subjects. Students can set a curriculum according to their personal situation and interests, complete the credits required for graduation, meet the main courses of the university and other graduation requirements, and then award a bachelor's degree.
Article 7 Students become full-time undergraduates after registering in the school newspaper. When they enter the school, they will choose and put forward their professional wishes in related departments such as humanities, science, engineering and business. In the first academic year, students take the basic subjects of their chosen major, as well as other courses such as general education and Chinese, and use the first year to understand their professional interests and adapt to the new learning and examination mode. According to the arrangement of individual departments, students can determine their major in the first or second academic year. Please refer to the major setting for the choice of major.
Chapter V Admission
Article 8 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong will enroll undergraduates in advance in 3 1 province/city/autonomous region.
Article 9 The mainland enrollment plan of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is divided into four categories: humanities, science, engineering and business. The humanities category includes majors in liberal arts, education, law and social sciences; Science is a major in medical college and science college; Engineering is a major in engineering colleges; Business is a major of business school. Candidates in literature and history can choose humanities and business; Science and engineering candidates can choose humanities, science, engineering and business.
Article 10 The Chinese University of Hong Kong offers six majors: full scholarship, tuition-free scholarship, humanities, science, engineering and business. For students admitted by "full scholarship" or "tuition-free scholarship", candidates of literature and history can choose humanities or business majors when they are admitted; Science and engineering candidates can choose one of humanities, science, engineering or business.
Article 1 1 Candidates' unified examination scores should be above the admission control scores of a number of undergraduate colleges, and the scores of single subjects should reach the passing level in principle. In the case of meeting the requirements of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong will be selected according to the principle of giving priority to college entrance examination results and scores, and there is no professional volunteer grade difference. In the case of the same results in the college entrance examination, those with high English scores will be given priority.
Article 12 candidates must apply for English as a foreign language, with a standard score of 150, and the English score of self-funded students must reach 120 or above; Scholarship students must score 130 or above.
Article 13 scholarship majors only admit candidates who choose the Chinese University of Hong Kong as the first institution. Non-scholarship majors will only consider volunteering if there are still places after a volunteer is admitted. Our school does not participate in soliciting volunteers.
Article 14 The school does not consider various preferential policies for taking care of candidates, but will file and access files according to the actual scores of candidates in the college entrance examination according to the Admissions Office, and admit them in the order of the actual scores of candidates in the college entrance examination (excluding extra points). But there is no difference between college volunteer scores and professional volunteer scores.
Article 15 The school reserves a certain number of floating places for non-scholarship majors. Colleges and universities can adjust the enrollment plan appropriately according to the students and candidates' grades, and determine the enrollment ratio of individual provinces/cities/autonomous regions.
Chapter VI Tuition Fees
Article 16 The tuition fee for non-local students of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is HK$120,000 yuan per year. Accommodation is about HK$ 65,438+00,000, and other miscellaneous expenses and living expenses are about HK$ 30,000 per year. In addition, a one-time deposit of HK$ 450 yuan must be paid in the first semester (when students leave school, if they don't need to pay any compensation, the deposit will be refunded, but it will generally be transferred to the students' graduation expenses).
Chapter VII Scholarships
Article 17 The Chinese University of Hong Kong provides scholarships to mainland students who are admitted by means of "full scholarship" or "tuition-free scholarship".
Article 18 For students who choose to enroll in both scholarship and non-scholarship majors, if their college entrance examination results do not reach the scholarship admission line, the Chinese University of Hong Kong will consider their non-scholarship professional volunteers and admit them according to their college entrance examination results, without setting a grade difference for professional volunteers.
Article 19 Students who choose to apply for a scholarship major will be told that they will get a scholarship when they are admitted.
Chapter VIII Supplementary Provisions
Article 20 Mainland students studying in Hong Kong may apply for entry permit labels because of their private status. The Chinese University of Hong Kong will arrange for the admitted students to apply for entry permit labels from the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. After obtaining the label, students must apply to the local public security bureau for a Hong Kong Pass.
Article 2 1 Students must arrive in Hong Kong to study in late August. The university will hold various orientation activities, arrange enrollment, course selection and other counseling to help students adapt to their study life.

Article 23 The Office of Admissions and Student Financial Assistance of The Chinese University of Hong Kong shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Articles of Association.
Scholarship charter
Article 1 In order to encourage outstanding mainland students to study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the university provides a number of scholarships for admitted mainland students, which are divided into "full scholarships" and "tuition-free scholarships", distributed in 3/kloc-0 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country.
The second scholarship is only awarded to candidates who declare that the Chinese University of Hong Kong wishes to become the first institution. Candidates should also take "full scholarship" and "tuition-free scholarship" as one or two of their professional volunteers.
Article 3 Candidates' college entrance examination scores (excluding extra points) must reach or exceed the minimum score line for awarding scholarships stipulated by China University before they can apply for scholarships. (Based on the standard college entrance examination score of 750, science and engineering and comprehensive candidates must reach more than 630 points, and literature and history candidates must reach more than 600 points; In addition, the English single subject score must reach 130 or above. Candidates who meet the minimum score of scholarships exceed the number of scholarships in their provinces/municipalities/autonomous regions, and are selected from high to low according to the number of places and the actual results of the college entrance examination. They are first designated as "full scholarships" and then as "tuition-free scholarships".
Article 4 Scholarships are divided into "full scholarships" and "tuition-free scholarships". Full scholarship students will receive tuition equivalent to four-year undergraduate courses and accommodation and living allowance of HK$ 45,000 per year; Tuition-free scholarship students will receive tuition equivalent to four-year undergraduate courses. Scholarships are only granted during the students' study period, and the granting period is no more than four years. Those who have studied for more than four years will not be awarded another scholarship.
Article 5 This scholarship is specially established for mainland students. If a student obtains Hong Kong resident status at any time during his study, the scholarship will be terminated.
Article 6 Scholarships shall last for four years in principle, but only when the academic performance of the winning students reaches the average of 3.00 points (equivalent to Grade B) stipulated by the school can they be renewed in the next academic year. If the student's academic performance does not reach the average score required for renewing the scholarship, he must be observed for one year, but if the academic performance in the next year does not meet the requirements of the university, the scholarship must be terminated. If the scholarship student violates any university rules and regulations and is punished by the resolution of the student discipline Committee of the academic Committee of the university, the university may consider suspending, reducing or terminating his scholarship.
Article 7 Students who choose a scholarship major will be notified to award scholarships at the same time after being selected and accepted.
Article 8 Scholarships shall be awarded in accordance with the relevant rules and procedures formulated by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Chinese University of Hong Kong has the final decision on the selection and award of scholarships.

Sir Maurice, winner of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Economics, joined the Chinese University as a professor of Bowen in 2002 and became the dean of Morningside College.
1999 Professor Mundell, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics and the "father of the euro", joined the Chinese University in 2009 and became Professor Bowen.
