Nanchang Metro Line 2 connects the core area of the new old city, covering three major areas of chauncey New City, namely Jiulong Lake, Hongjiaozhou and Honggutan, as well as the core area and southern area of Changdong Old City. The length is 4 1.6 km, with 34 stations. Among them, the first phase of the project starts from the south avenue in front of the station and ends at Xinjiaan Station, with a total length of 23.78 kilometers and 2 1 station. 1 Line and Line 2 are all B-cars with steel wheels and rails, grouped in 6 trains, and the designed line capacity is 30 pairs/hour. 2 1 station names of the first phase project are: Zhanqian South Avenue Station (transfer to Line 4), Nanchang West Station, Longgang Station, National Sports Center Station, Wolong Mountain Station, Lingbei Third Road Station, Qianhu Avenue Station, Xuefu Avenue East Station (transfer to Line 5), Cuiyuan Road Station, Metro Building Station (transfer to Line 1) and Yayuan Road.

According to the existing design and construction, the south of Qianhu area of Line 2 is close to Nanchang Hangkong University and close to Qianhu Campus of Nanchang University. The existing bus can be reached at 1-2 station.
