History of Anqing No.1 Middle School
Anqing No.1 Middle School in Anhui Province, formerly known as Anhui Normal School, was founded in 1906 (thirty-two years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), and was founded by Yan Fu, a modern enlightenment thinker. The first inspector was Yao Yongquan, a master of Tongcheng School. And then it changed. It has been renamed Anhui First Normal School and Anhui First Middle School. 1956 was not named until today. 1959 was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in the province, 1988 was directly contacted by the State Education Commission, 1999 was a provincial demonstration high school, and 200/kloc-0 was a provincial high school science experimental class and a national macro class.

Revolutionaries and military strategists include: Xu, the early leader of the * * * production party in China, the commander of the first army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army, Peng Ganchen, the garrison commander and political commissar of Nanchang City during the August 1st Nanchang Uprising, Tong, the commander of the second army of the Northeast People's Army, and Wang Buwen, the first secretary of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee.

1958 September 16, president Mao Zedong inspected the school accompanied by Zhang Zhizhong, Vice Chairman of the National Defense Commission, Ceng Xisheng, First Secretary of Anhui Province, Governor Huang Yan, Xu Shaolin, Secretary of Anqing District Committee, and Fang Zhenhua, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee. This is the only time that President Mao Zedong visited this middle school before his death.

1June, 959, the school was identified as one of the provincial key middle schools by the provincial government.

1977 September 12, Anhui Provincial Party Secretary Wan Li inspected our school.

1978 was approved as the first batch of 22 key middle schools in the province.

1988, recognized as a school directly contacted by the State Education Commission.

In 2000, the school's "Four Networks in One Campus Network Technology Development and Research Project" won the fourth prize of Anhui Science and Technology Progress Award.

In May, 2007, the school was awarded the second "Top 100 Middle Schools in China".

In 2009, the school was named the third "Top 100 Middle Schools in China".

20 12 Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin university of China and Fudan university awarded the school recommendation qualification.
