1985 ~ 1993: working in central south university of technology, lecturer, associate professor and professor.
1992 ~ 1993: studying at the institute of metal materials, tohoku university, Japan, as a visiting researcher.

About Dean Chen Zhenhua:
Professor and doctoral supervisor of Hunan University, Dean of College of Materials Science and Engineering, Director of Institute of Metal Materials. He is also the first doctor of powder metallurgy trained in China. Because of his excellent academic performance and outstanding achievements in socialist modernization, he was awarded the honorary title of Dr. China with outstanding contributions by the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the State Education Commission. Young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions at the national level enjoy special government allowances and are among the first outstanding experts in Hunan Province. Consultant of International Conference on Powder Metallurgy (PM2000), Consultant of East Asia Conference on Powder Metallurgy (2003), member of the evaluation team of the 4th National Natural Science Foundation. He has served as a visiting researcher in Northeastern University and tokyo institute of technology twice. Long-term engaged in metal materials and powder metallurgy in the field of high-tech and new materials research. He presided over more than 20 national key scientific and technological projects, military supporting projects, 863 projects, national natural science foundation projects and provincial key projects, and published more than 300 academic papers, including more than 70 in SCI core edition and more than 90 in Ei. In the field of material preparation, we have invented a series of original technologies, including invention patents 10, won the third prize of national scientific and technological invention and the fourth prize of national natural science, won the first, second and third prizes of scientific and technological progress of the State Education Commission, won the second prize of technological invention of mechanical industry and won the provincial prizes of other ministries/commissions 10, and trained more than 40 doctoral and master students.
