The Historical Evolution of Nanchang No.17 Middle School
The school was founded in 1958, which is the product of the Great Leap Forward. Rent several classrooms in Nanchang Normal School to start school. A year later, teachers also had to make a "Great Leap Forward" and the teaching space was tight, so the school had to move to Dieshan Road to rent a house before Nanchang Airlines started classes. At that time, it was called Nanchang No.16 Middle School. There were only four classes in the middle school, two classes in Grade Two and one or two classes in Grade One. The classroom is a small warehouse.

/kloc-in the spring of 0/960, the school moved from aviation preschool to Shanghai Road new campus.

1960 Shanghai Road was a loess road, surrounded by farmland. There is no fence in the school, and farmers are eating grass on the playground. The school has two teaching buildings, each with three floors and twelve classrooms. A year later, it was renamed the middle school affiliated to Hongdu University.

1962 was renamed as the 17th Middle School in Nanchang, which has been in use ever since.

1September 1985, entrusted by provinces and cities, the school became the first batch of schools in China to open junior high schools in Tibet.
