Gong Wei Village is located in the southeast of Haidian District, including the southwest corner of the intersection of Baishiqiao Road and Xueyuan South Road. The famous Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Minzu University of China are all near Gong Wei Village. Today, Gong Wei Village has become a prosperous urban area, but in the early days of liberation, it was just a veritable small village with only a dozen families.
