[Edit this paragraph] Key majors
Provincial key specialty
A, radio and television director (undergraduate)
The major of radio and television editing and directing is based on the A-class key subject "Radio and Television Art" in Zhejiang Province, with three provincial-level excellent courses, such as radio and television editing and directing business, film and television drama creation and television editing and directing foundation, and four school-level excellent courses, such as audio-visual language. The key courses of the Academy of Film and Television Arts are the teaching foundation, and the provincial key demonstration laboratories, television editing and directing laboratories and more than 50 practice bases in China are the practical positions. The person in charge of this major is the person in charge of the provincial A-class key discipline "Radio and Television Art", the "five batches" talents of Zhejiang Province's propaganda and cultural system, the provincial young and middle-aged academic leaders, and the master tutor. This major began to recruit junior college students 199 1 and undergraduates in 2003. In the history of 16, we have accumulated rich experience in personnel training and scientific research achievements, and built two powerful double-qualified teaching teams and scientific research innovation teams, including 6 professors (3 tutors for master students) and 8 doctors. The film and television works created by directors trained in this major have won many awards for international and domestic college students' film and television works. At present, there are 639 students; 1 123 college students graduated from CCTV to provincial and municipal radio and television units, and most of them became the backbone of directors, screenwriters and producers.
This major is integrating and applying for the provincial teaching team in 2008, and strives to apply for the national teaching team in 20 10. This major has become a well-known major with novel characteristics and distinct advantages among similar departments in the south. In recent years, Shangxi, Hunan Broadcasting School and many other art colleges have come to our school to study our major, and more and more academic colleagues have come to our school for further study and study. More than 20 associate professors and lecturers from Yunnan Arts University and Anhui Broadcasting School came to our major as visiting scholars.
This major always adheres to the "platform+module" talent training scheme of cultivating high-level creative talents with distinctive characteristics and strong innovation ability, and provides innovative and compound creative talents for the media industry at home and abroad; Strive to build an integrated innovation exchange platform in Industry-University-Research, so that the practical teaching system of this major can take a unique path and cultivate applied talents with strong practical ability; In the next three years, we will introduce and train double-qualified teachers who have both editing and directing practice and film and television theory, and build a high-quality teaching team. At the same time, cultivate a group of well-known scholar teachers with strong scientific research ability and build an innovative team with strong scientific research productivity.
Second, radio and television engineering (undergraduate)
Professional profile
The undergraduate major of "Radio and Television Engineering" in School of Electronic Information, Zhejiang Communication University was established in 2003 and began to recruit students, with 45 students enrolled for the first time. This major is applied on the basis of "Radio and Television Network Technology", and it is one of the first batch of undergraduate majors declared after the school was upgraded to Zhejiang Media College.
At present, it is the only school in Zhejiang Province that has this major to train undergraduate talents in radio and television engineering, and only five universities in China have this major, with the layout of "Northern Guangdong and Southern Zhejiang Guangdong", namely China Communication University and Zhejiang Media College, and others include Nanjing University, Tibet University and Southwest Petroleum University. As far as the employment demand of the national broadcasting industry is concerned, the professionals trained by China Communication University and Zhejiang Media College with a long history of running schools are the main ones. Therefore, the advantages of this major in enrollment and employment market are very obvious. The employment rate of the first undergraduate graduates is 97.5%, and two-thirds of the students are employed in the broadcasting industry.
After years of hard work, some achievements have been made in specialty construction and discipline construction. In 2005, it was established as a key construction discipline at the school level, and achieved "good" results in the evaluation of new majors in Zhejiang Province in the same year. In 2006, it was approved as the first batch of key construction majors at the school level, and successfully passed the evaluation of the right to confer bachelor's degrees in the first half of 2007.
Since the establishment of the undergraduate major in 2003, the teachers of this major have completed the national key project (cooperation) 1, presided over the provincial natural science fund project 1, presided over the provincial science and technology department project 1 (including the major project1and four key projects), and presided over two projects funded by young teachers of the provincial education department.
The characteristics of this major construction are "based on radio and television, tracking the forefront, paying attention to the cultivation of students' ability, and paying attention to cultivating students' innovative ability and practical ability". In terms of personnel training mode, explore the training mode of running a school jointly with China Radio and Television Association, and set up "Zhongguang Class" to try hierarchical teaching; In order to cultivate students' innovative ability and practical ability, we set up the "Students' Scientific and Technological Innovation Group". On the basis of strengthening the cultivation of innovation ability in peacetime, in 2006, my major students presided over seven scientific research projects of "New Miao Talents Program" of Zhejiang Science and Technology Department, which achieved zero breakthrough in students' provincial scientific research projects. In 2007, my major students presided over and declared 4 scientific research projects of "New Miao Talents Program" of Zhejiang Science and Technology Department and 5 scientific research projects of school-level students.
At present, China's radio and television is developing in the direction of digitalization, networking, industrialization and informatization, and is changing from traditional media to modern media, which urgently needs compound talents with good theoretical knowledge and strong innovation ability. This major is also actively reforming the talent training mode, and strives to build this major into a base with certain characteristics that can meet the needs of modern media industry for technical talents.
Third, radio and television news (specialist)
The major of radio and television news was founded in 1986, which is the earliest major in the school and has a history of 2 1 year. As an industrial college directly under the former Ministry of Radio, Film and Television, the school was one of the 25 institutions offering this major in China at that time. So far, this major has trained more than 1000 outstanding radio and television news talents for all kinds of radio stations, TV stations, party and government organs, enterprises and institutions in China. This major is now affiliated to the School of Journalism and Cultural Communication, with 249 students.
2 00 1 year, in order to meet the demand of talent market, a new network news major was added. In 2003, this major was rated as the key construction major in Zhejiang universities. In the same year, the major officially enrolled undergraduates, and the construction of undergraduate and specialist majors entered a period of rapid and high-quality development. In 2005, journalism (radio and television journalism), a discipline of this major, was awarded as a key discipline in Zhejiang Province.
In 2005, the Ministry of Education adjusted the professional catalogue and renamed the major "News Editing and Production" (Art). This major is based on the construction index of junior college level and relies on provincial key disciplines. After five years of construction, it has achieved remarkable results.
The School of Journalism and Cultural Communication, where this major is located, is the vice-president unit of Zhejiang Communication Society, the governing unit of National Journalism Education Society and the standing governing unit of Zhejiang Radio and Television Society. The person in charge of this major is a young and middle-aged academic leader in Zhejiang Province, a member of the Tenth Five-Year Plan of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and the first national "Top 100 and Top 100" radio and television theorists.
After this major became a provincial key construction major, it formulated a five-year construction plan and determined the guiding principles and development direction of professional construction. The guiding principle is: carry out professional construction around "two concepts and one orientation". The "two concepts" are: running a major with the concept of journalism, and building a practical teaching system with the concept of "practice is actual combat"; "One direction" refers to the direction of talent training, that is, to cultivate students who are "quick to get started, have strong practical adaptability and have great room for sustainable development". The professional development direction is: based in Zhejiang, facing the whole country, becoming a first-class radio and television news specialty in China.
After five years' construction, the professional teachers are abundant, the number of "double-qualified" teachers has increased obviously, and the professional title, education and age structure are reasonable. The existing two teachers are both "Eleventh" provincial philosophy and social sciences? Five members of the planning discipline group, five teachers are members of the provincial news system senior title evaluation Committee, and eight teachers are judges of various outstanding radio and television news awards in the province.
Experimental teaching equipment, textbook construction, books and materials, practice base and other teaching conditions fully meet the teaching needs.
Since 2002, teachers in this major have made remarkable achievements in scientific research. Full-time teachers published 373 papers in academic journals at all levels; Publication of monograph 12 and teaching material 16; Undertake or participate in vertical projects 104, including 6 national projects, 23 provincial and ministerial projects and 5 bureau-level projects1; Undertake or participate in 4 provincial education reform projects and 20 school-level education reform projects; Undertake 26 horizontal projects.
After several years of construction, this major has formed obvious professional characteristics, which are professional, practical and forward-looking in general. The specific characteristics are as follows: professional teachers have rich practical experience and frequent exchanges and cooperation with the media industry, which can well meet the practical teaching needs of "practice is actual combat"; The direction of professional training keeps pace with the times, adding the direction of online news to meet the needs of the development of the new media era, thus making the profession more forward-looking; Construct a "three-level" progressive practice teaching system and form a "five-combination" practice teaching method; The radio and television experimental equipment required for professional teaching is sufficient, and the practice training base is huge, covering the whole country. These characteristics have become a powerful guarantee for cultivating applied talents with quick hands-on, strong practical adaptability and large space for sustainable development, and have also been widely recognized and praised by the media industry.
4. Hosting and Broadcasting (University)
The major of Broadcasting and Hosting Art in this school is set at 1986 (the enrollment of junior college students began at 1986, and the enrollment of undergraduate students began in 2003, which is the major with the largest number of applicants in the school, with an admission rate of 0.3%). In 2000, it was awarded as a key major (specialist) in Zhejiang Province; In 2004, it was accepted by the provincial education department as "good comprehensive evaluation";
