Sun Jing was born in Xindu (now jizhou city) in Han Dynasty. He is young, studious, well-read, rote learning, and regards books as his life. He often stays up reading and studies at night. Neighbors call him "Mr. Close the Door". ?
While studying, Sun Jing always takes notes. He often stays up until after midnight. After a long time, he sometimes falls asleep. I regretted it when I woke up. One day, he looked up and thought hard, his eyes stayed on the beams, and suddenly his eyes shone. Then I found a rope. One end of the rope is tied to the beam and the lower end is tied to my hair. In this way, whenever he is tired and sleepy and wants to doze off, as long as he lowers his head, the rope will yank his hair, and when it hurts, he will wake up to drive away sleepiness. Since then, he has studied hard in this way every night.
After studying hard year after year, Sun Jing read many poems and became a learned scholar. At that time, he was quite famous in the north of Jianghuai, and students often traveled thousands of miles to him to study and discuss knowledge.
2, "awl thorn stocks" Su Qin:
"awl stab" refers to the Warring States period, there was a man named Su Qin, who was also a famous politician. When I was young, I went to many places to do things because of the lack of knowledge, and I was not taken seriously. After returning home, his family was also very cold and looked down on him. This greatly stimulated him, so he was determined to study hard. He often studies late into the night. When he wants to sleep, he holds an awl, and once he dozes off, he stabs his thigh with the awl. In this way, I suddenly felt pain, woke up by myself, and then insisted on reading.
3. Capsule fireflies reflect snow:
Capsule fireflies and Xue Ying refer to the stories of Che Yin and Sun Kang in Jin Dynasty who studied hard and taught themselves by the reflection of fireflies' light and snow.
Sun Kang's family is too poor to afford lamp oil. One night in the middle of the night, Sun Kang woke up from his sleep. When he turned his head to the window, he found a ray of light in the window. It turned out to be light reflected by heavy snow. He found that he could use it to read. So he was so tired that he immediately got dressed, took out his book and went outside. The snow reflected on the wide earth is much brighter than the snow in the room.
Sun Kang ignored the cold and immediately read a book. His hands and feet were frozen stiff, so he got up and ran, rubbing his fingers at the same time. From then on, every snowy night, he never missed this good opportunity and studied tirelessly. This spirit of hard work has promoted his knowledge to advance by leaps and bounds and become a knowledgeable person. Later, he became an ancient scholar.
In the Jin Dynasty, Che Yin was always eager to study, but because of his poor family, his father could not provide him with a good learning environment. In order to maintain food and clothing, there is no extra money to buy him lamp oil for evening study. To this end, he can only recite poems during the day. One night in summer, he was reciting an article in the yard when he suddenly saw many fireflies flying at low altitude. The flashing light is a bit dazzling in the dark. He thought, if you put many fireflies together, wouldn't it become a lamp?
So, he went to find a white silk bag, immediately caught dozens of fireflies and put them in, then tied the mouth of the bag and hung it up. It's not very bright, but it can be used for reading. From then on, as long as there are fireflies, he will catch one to use as a lamp. Because he was diligent and eager to learn, he finally achieved something, and he went to the official department to be a minister.
