Changchun University of Technology is a major in Linyuan Campus. Changchun University of Technology is a provincial key university, which focuses on engineering, and the disciplines of management, literature, science, economics, law and art support each other and develop in a coordinated way. The school was founded on 1952. In the early days, Changchun Automobile Industry School was founded by the state, and the first automobile factory in China was built.

The school has experienced the development stages of Changchun Institute of Technology, Jilin Institute of Technology and Jilin Institute of Technology. Jilin Institute of Technology and Jilin University of Technology merged in June 1970, 10 resumed studies 1978. In September 2000, Changchun Coal Industry School, Changchun Coal Management Cadre College and Jilin Light Industry Design School merged. In March 2002, it was renamed Changchun University of Technology.

The school has three campuses, namely Nanhu, Beihu and Linyuan, which are located in Nanhu, Beihu and Huayuan Road in Changchun, covering an area of 1.252 million square meters. The campus environment is elegant, and it is an ideal garden for study and research. The school has 15 colleges and 54 undergraduate majors.
