China University of Science and Technology of the People's Liberation Army, located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, is a new comprehensive military key institution directly under the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army of China, one of the five key universities, an open institution, and one of the key institutions of the "2 1 10 Project" of the army, and is being established at the corps level.

The origin of the school can be traced back to 193 1 February. The Broadcasting School of the Central Military Commission was established in Ruijin, Jiangxi. 1999, China People's Liberation Army Communication Engineering College, China People's Liberation Army Corps of Engineers Engineering College, Air Force Meteorological College, and the 63rd College of General Staff merged to form China People's Liberation Army University of Science and Technology.
