College teaching and research facilities are relatively complete. On the basis of fully enjoying Jishou University's network system, books and other teaching resources, it also has an office and teaching and research section with a building area of nearly 6,000 square meters, with more than 3,600 books and more than 70 Chinese and foreign periodicals. There are four teaching laboratories, including basic chemistry laboratory (including inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, physical chemistry, etc. ), chemical engineering laboratory (including chemical engineering principle, fine chemical engineering, engineering drawing and computer simulation, etc. ), food science and engineering laboratory (including food technology, fermentation engineering, food analysis and other laboratories) and analysis and testing center, covering an area of nearly 4000 square meters. The total value of experimental instruments and equipment reached100000 yuan, and there were more than 700 sets of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment 1997, among which the basic chemistry laboratory1997 passed the provincial "double-base" evaluation, and in 2006 it was recognized as a provincial demonstration laboratory, and the analysis and testing center 1999 passed the metrological certification of Hunan Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision. In 2007, the chemical experimental teaching center of our college was approved as the construction unit of the national experimental teaching demonstration center, and became one of the national experimental teaching demonstration centers of chemistry and chemical engineering in 26 colleges and universities in China, which achieved a breakthrough in establishing a national experimental teaching platform in our college. It has two on-campus practice teaching bases, namely, Hunan Laodie Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Key Laboratory of Forest Products Chemical Industry, and nine off-campus practice teaching bases, including Hunan Times Sunshine Group, Hunan Western Food Industry Group and Zhuzhou Chemical General Factory.

The college actively integrates and utilizes various teaching resources and attaches importance to foreign exchanges and cooperation. We have established long-term friendly cooperative relations with Sun Yat-sen University, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan Times Sunshine Group, Hunan Yuan Keli Group, Jinjian Rice Industry Group and Xiangxi Rongchang Group. Every year, teachers are sent out to study and receive visits and lectures from scholars at home and abroad. The College has actively participated in various academic activities at home and abroad, hosted and co-organized domestic academic conferences for many times, and hired a number of famous experts and scholars such as Huang Kelong, Yin, Ma Meihu, Zhu Guangkui, Chen Zhenbing and Jia Ting as distinguished and visiting professors of the College, and conducted scientific research and technological development with experts from inside and outside the province, with remarkable results.

The college has always established the working concept of "building a hospital with talents, building a hospital with quality, prospering the hospital with management and strengthening the hospital with science and technology", insisting on taking talent training as the center, accelerating development as the theme, deepening education and teaching reform as the driving force and improving the quality of education and teaching as the goal, and constantly improving the quality and level of education and teaching.
