Basic requirements for re-examination of Northwestern Polytechnical University (qualified line for initial examination): 330 points for power machinery and engineering, and 360 points for fluid machinery and engineering.

Northwestern Polytechnical University was established by the merger of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi Xi Aviation College in June 1957, and the Department of Aviation Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology was merged into Northwestern Polytechnical University in June 1970.
