The college has a historical information center, a history museum, a number of teachers, archaeological and cultural heritage practice bases, a national-level innovative talent training model experimental area, a liberal arts talent training and scientific research base of the Ministry of Education, and a regional and national research and training base of the Ministry of Education. Five undergraduate majors are set up, namely, history (teachers' class) (Beijing's first-class major), history (Beijing's first-class major), world history (the first batch of national first-class majors) and archaeology and cultural heritage (this major became the only national specialty in this field approved by the Ministry of Education in 20 15). He has three first-class disciplines: world history (national key discipline), China history (first-class discipline) and archaeology, and a master's degree in archaeology and museum science. On 20 18, history (world history, China history) was selected as the first batch of high-tech disciplines in Beijing, and was jointly established with the history department of Peking University.
There are 80 full-time teachers (including 6 foreign teachers), including 34 professors and 27 associate professors. Among the teachers, 32 are qualified as doctoral supervisors and 28 are qualified as academic master supervisors. Among the teachers, there are 1 national famous teachers and 2 Beijing famous teachers. National teaching teams 1 team, and more than ten provincial and ministerial teaching and research groups. The college's international exchanges have developed rapidly. At present, cooperation agreements have been signed with Paris Teachers College, Edinburgh University, King's College London, Birmingham University, University of Hawaii, Iowa State University, Tohoku University, Waseda University, National University of Japan, Central University of Japan and New University of Japan. Every year, students go to Europe, America and Japan to study and visit. At present, there are 443 full-time undergraduates (including 2 international students), 33 master students1person, 65438 doctoral students and 4 postdoctoral students1person. Over the past 60 years, our college has trained thousands of talents at all levels, including senior cadres of the party, government and army, and a large number of teachers, experts and scholars who are active in the front line of history teaching and research in universities and middle schools. Undergraduate students have won prizes in academic competitions at or above the municipal level. From 2007 to 20 19, more than 3 10 undergraduates were recommended to study for master's degrees without examination, and more than 98% of them were admitted to "double-class" universities.
