1, subject+predicate sentence. This is the most basic sentence pattern of subject+predicate. I is the subject and do is the predicate.
2. Subject+predicate+object. This is the most widely used basic sentence pattern in English, which is basically consistent with the subject-predicate-object expression in Chinese, such as "I love you", where I is the subject, the verb form of love is the predicate and you is the object.
3. Subject+predicate+double object. For example, "I can give you an apple", where "you" is the direct object after the verb "give" and "an apple" is also the object as an indirect object.
4. Subject+Predicate+Object+Object Complement, such as "You make me happy". The composition of subject-predicate object is easy to see. Being happy as the object complement complements the state of object "I" and makes the sentence more complete.
5. Subject+verb+predicate. For example, "You are my mother" is a simple cardinality table structure. As a copula, "are" has a certain meaning, but it cannot act as a predicate independently. It must form a predicate with the predicative "my mother" in the sentence.
