Lanzhou Jiaotong University's water supply and drainage major (professional A+ level) ranks fourth in the country.

Lanzhou Jiaotong University is a university jointly established by China Railway Corporation, State Railway Administration and Gansu Provincial People's Government. The Ministry of Education's "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" was selected as a university, and the Ministry of Education's "Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform Model School".

As of April 2022, the school has two campuses, covering an area of 1.564 mu, with a building area of 709,700 square meters, and the library has 231.1.8000 books. At present, there are 5 post-doctoral research stations, 6 first-class doctoral programs, 28 first-class master programs, and 15 professional degree authorization categories.

As of May, 20021year, the school has 5 post-doctoral research stations, 6 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degree, 25 first-class disciplines authorized by master degree, 5 categories authorized by master degree1year, and 24 provincial key disciplines.

In 20 19, six disciplines were selected as the first-class disciplines of the "double-first-class" characteristic construction project in Gansu province, including/kloc-0 for the second discipline, 3 for the third discipline and 2 for the fourth discipline. By February of 20 18 and 18, five disciplines (groups) have been selected for the first-level discipline construction project in Gansu province, including two dominant disciplines and three A-level characteristic disciplines.
